We LOVE our volunteers!
Without our volunteers, VitalChurch could not meet the needs of the churches that we serve! Our ministry is supported by dozens of volunteers who give of their wisdom, time, energy, and resources to help support VitalChurch Ministry.
Many of our volunteers have been through the diagnostic and interim pastorate processes in their own churches and because of that, they bring a unique sensitivity, empathy, and hope in their interactions with the churches we serve.

Volunteer Testimonials
“Serving with VitalChurch is a great way to volunteer at churches all over the country. You get to meet fellow believers at the churches, enjoy their hospitality, and provide them with the reassurance that God has a plan for their church. It’s an opportunity to share experiences and offer support.”
“As volunteers, we get opportunity to serve alongside experienced pastors and others who offer incredible insight into what God is doing. Additionally, we get to see a church find hope for their transition to the next season for their body of believers.” – Brian and Leslee Purvis
“Before becoming a volunteer, I had experience as both a congregant and a staff member going through some messy church conflict and transitions. VitalChurch was called in to assess and lead the church through some pretty difficult conversations and transitions, and I’ve gotten to witness the restoration and redemption that has unfolded since. The experience of volunteering has been meaningful because I get the opportunity to play a part in that redemptive process for another church. I get the opportunity to testify that even when the church can be deeply unhealthy or even harmful, there is still hope Christ is on his throne and can redeem the whole. My favorite thing about volunteering with VitalChurch is getting to see the Holy Spirit minister to a specific church and people where they are at. God knows what we need and where we fall short, and he has such a beautiful way of sweetly rebuking us and also encouraging us towards deeper communion with Him and with one another.” – Rachel van Opijnen
